Interperating the needs
Employers should develop an exact, precise, and unequivocal understanding of the attributes and qualities, essential for the candidates to be suitable and successful in their workplace. They should employ sufficient number of employees in each of the organization’s departments according to the possible workload. Selected candidates must be appropriately suitable to the posts they are selected for, and there should be a cooperative and harmonious relationship among all the departments, and also the public relations within the organization.The HR department should devise criteria for making the selection, based on the nature of various present and future requirements of the organization, the availability of resources, and future planning. It is always beneficial to know about each candidate in advance through the subtle observations of their resumes, to facilitate the process of a scrupulous interview. A checklist of questions to be asked from each candidate during his/her interviews must be prepared beforehand, to facilitate a fast but comprehensive interview. The checklist should be prepared according to the present and future competency requirements of the various departments of the organization. Moreover, the checklist must contain topics and questions that very easily can reveal and appraise the candidates’ latent potentials and motives.
